Founders’ Golf Day at Beaconsfield

The Company golf day was once again held at Beaconsfield GC on Tuesday 1st July, with 14 players, two more than last year. There were 7 Founders and 7 guests, with two Founder participants Sarah Harrold and Matthew Hooper participating for the first time. Lunch was taken before play comprising a tasty chicken dish followed by summer pudding, before we left the shelter of the clubhouse to play in what was decidedly warm weather although mercifully that did ease a little in late afternoon. The course was, as ever in immaculate condition and much enjoyed by everyone.

After playing we assembled in the welcome shade of the clubhouse terrace where tea was served and results were announced and prizes presented. There were three competitions, Founders individual stableford for the Kemp Trophy, guests individual stableford, and a better ball score for each Founder plus guest pairing.

All in all it was a most sociable day in the welcoming environs of Beaconsfield GC.
