The Pink Link

Bedford Giving Launches ‘The Pink Link’ – A Mental Health Resource for Parents and Carers

We are pleased to support the launch of The Pink Link, a new campaign from Bedford Giving, one of the principal recipients of our grant funding. This initiative provides parents, carers, and guardians in Bedford Borough with clear, accessible guidance on supporting the mental health and wellbeing of children and young people.

The Pink Link webpage offers:

  • Practical advice on how to begin supportive conversations.

  • Guidance on identifying early warning signs of mental health difficulties.

  • A comprehensive A–Z directory of local and national support services.

Developed with input from professionally trained therapists at Spring Therapeutic counselling service, the resources are designed to offer timely, trusted advice to those supporting young people.

The campaign is being promoted across Bedford through a wide-reaching communications effort, including local bus routes, digital billboards, shop windows, and social media. Plans are also underway for a public finale to mark World Mental Health Day in October, with the illumination of Bedford landmarks in pink.
