Is Bell Ringing Dead? Absolutely not.

This film, produced with support from The Ringing World and funded by the Heritage Fund, showcases the Ringing World National Youth Contest at St Martin’s Church in Birmingham. Since 2011, the contest has brought together under-19 teams from across England and Wales to compete in categories from call changes to method ringing on six or eight bells. Judged on accuracy and rhythm, the event also celebrates confidence, friendship, and the living tradition of change ringing.

The film was produced by Mae in collaboration with Taylor’s Bellfoundry. Visitors can explore the Foundry and its museum, open Tuesday to Friday and the first Saturday of each month.
